The last could be the best. Few more days and few more nights before Ramadan
leaves us behind. Amazing, is how the soul finds ways to connect with its Creator.
Wonderf,ul is how we experience a spiritual domain in life that becomes
all the more intense in the month of Ramadan; too real to let go of; too fleeting to capture.
How are you going to memorialize these moments of connectedness and spiritual
attainment? Are you going to change course in life and become a better citizen of the universe? Or are you still waiting for something else to move you and motivate you knowing how short life can be? Look around, count the people that are missing from around you since last year this time. But at the same time, take notice of how many have chosen to make a spark and a difference for themselves and for others. Those are the chosen ones; chosen to receive Allah’s acknowledgement and reward. Shall we not all choose to be among them? I don’t think it’s a hard choice between being somebody and being nobody.
It’s always about the choices we make in life. How you live your life is entirely your
choice. Think light and soon you will become light, shining upon the face of earth, down
in the grave, and up there to eternity. And, yes… Eid Mubarak for you and your loved ones.
